Sportscasters on College has a new Stern Playboy. It's still in good condition and seems to play well. Even seems to have a translite signed by Gary Stern!

Surfside Cafe in Old Town Fort Collins has Space Station and Earth Shaker. Both in good condition.

December 26, 2004
The Easy Street Arcade (part of the Easy Street Casino) on Main Street in Central City has a dirty, but playable Revenge From Mars and a very dirty and less playable (it has a weak left flipper) World Cup Soccer.
November 27, 2004
Village Vidiot on East Elizabeth in Fort Collins still has SST and Xenon. The SST plays fairly well, although the left-most rollover does not work and the automatic plunger sometimes doesn't send the ball up far enough, negating the benefits of "ball save." It is set for 5 balls, however.
The Xenon was off and when I asked about it, I was told it was broken.
Panhandler's Pizza, also on East Elizabeth in Fort Collins still has STTNG, but it too was off when I took a peek.
I also maintain (with input from others) a Locations List. For Colorado head over to http://jameswest.com/pinball/locations/colorado/
Lyons Classic Pinball in Lyons, north of Boulder. Kevin and Carole Carroll have one of the finest pinball arcades anywhere, and it's here in our state! Over thirty games to play, from the classics to the modern. Here's more information http://www.lyonspinball.com.
There is a Monopoly at Fort Fun in Ft Collins, poor condition, here is their website, http://www.fortfun.biz
Here's an update on Ft Collins pinball, 08-10-04
- Foothills Fashion Mall arcade, Monopoly.
- Coopersmith's Pub, RFM, plays decent 12-13-04
- Trail Head bar, HD 12-13-04
- Starlight, RFM (playable, early software, hard to see pf)
- Washingtons, WCS plays OK 12-13-04
- Village Vidiot, SST, Xenon
- Jim's Wings, AFM, below average condition
- Sportcasters, Striker Xtreme, plays OK.
- Panhandlers, STNG, plays OK.
I get the feeling that there's more pinball in FC than we think, since there's lots of bars I wouldn't be surprised if there's forty or fifty games scattered around. That's quite a few when you think of it. It's going to take time to catalog them all, I'm not really a bar person. It might be fun to go around in two or threesomes to explore however. Jeff and Connie Cleverly where are you? I still expect there's more games in Old Town, we need to see what's on campus also. I'm also curious to see what multiples of games we can come up with, that's two Monopolies and RFMs so far, I have a hunch that we'll see more PB 2000s, that "failed" experiment seems pretty reliable. : ) Dave
Thanks Dave (IJ Mike here and what you replied to). My memory is not all that great these days and even though I just was in that arcade a couple days ago, I have forgotten already. Since the death of the CSU arcade (with Brad Kiehne and his good care for the pins), I've given-up on Fort Collins pinball :^( Now that we have this page, though, I'll be sure to pay more attention! - Mike
Coppercade at Copper Mountain has a Street Fighter 2 and a Lost World, both games are dirty but playable. There is also a Harley Davidson Sega machine at Endo's right down the way. Mark
Fat City in Littleton had the following games on 11-15-03: Terminator 3, Monoply, Roller Coaster Tycoon, Denver Broncos, Breakshot. Mark Horacek
Red & Jerry's in Sheridan had the following Pins on 11-21-03: Terminator 3, High Roller Casino, Roller Coaster Tycoon, The Simpsons Pinball Party. All seem to be in pretty good shape. Mark Horacek
Erics down under in Breckenridge on 12-30-03: Monster Bash, Scared Stiff, The Adams Family, Medieval Madness, World Cup Soccer, Star Wars Episode 1. All were dirty and need work. Mark Horacek
Moose Jaw in Frisco on 12-29-03: Theatre of Magic. Dirty but working. Mark H.

SCORE!!! Classic lanes has 5 pins in great shape. LOTR, Fish Tales, Dirty Harry, Funhouse and Mars Pin 2k. These five are the best maintained machines I have seen at an arcade. They all have ball hole protectors and leg protectors this guy plans on keeping his games nice. Go check them out and keep him in buisness. As of 2-6-04 also SWE1, Roadshow, WCS94. Funhouse is out. Seven games total! Dave

In summit county: Breckenridge MM, SS, TAF, WCS at Downstairs at Eric's all games are diry and broken. Gottleib's Gofers, RFM, South Park .. all play o.k. at Ulhr's bar on Main Street. Silverthorne South Park in Old Chicago Bar. haven't played it.
Connie and I went on a crawl to our known spots in Fort Collins and found these:
Horsetooth Lanes - Demolition Man. Clean, but flakey tilt mech.
Canyon Grill by Horsetooth resivoir - Shadow. Clean. Set for 5 ball play. They usually have at least 2 games, but a Christmas tree is currently occupying space where the other games would be. Outside the city limits and smoking is allowed.
C.B. Potts - Starship Troopers in the main bar. None in the brew side anymore. The center hole and left saucer don't register and it spends half your time waiting for the autosearch to kick in. The wait staff won't wait on you either.
Pizza Hut at Drake and Shields - Super Mario Brothers. The dmd was very flakey and we couldn't bring ourselves to play it.
Coopersmiths - Attack from Mars. Perpetual credit dot and largely dead poppers at the top.
Washingtons - Revenge from Mars. Pretty good condition.
Starlight Cafe - Revenge from Mars. They were closed, so we didn't play it.
Surfside Cafe in Old Town -
Space Station EarthShaker. Weak poppers. $.25/game Revenge from Mars. Didn't play it.
Most of their pins have been set for $.25 a game, and often have classic video games like Asteroids, Galaga, Battle Zone, and Pac Man.
Tailgate Tommy's - Addams Family. Clean, but the "Power" feature doesn't work.
Feed and Grain, Timnath - Frank Thomas Big Hurt. The game was dirty and turned off. It's usually playable.
Foothills Mall -
Monopoly. Seems to play well.
Dr. Dude. Turned off and coin slots taped.
Jeff.
They moved the AFM from CooperSmith's. I'm sure it will show up again somewhere. Let me know if you see it.
They replaced it with a new Stern Harley Davidson game. It was in use so we didn't get to check it out.
Surfside Cafe had the Police Force switched out with a Space Station. It's playable, but has some switch issues. Three games for $1.
Jeff
